So you would like your family or fur-family photographed? You are in the right place!

Here at Duet Images, Vanessa has been photographing Melbourne Families (and their Pets) for over ten years. This is why we have made things really easy and feel free to ask questions at ANY time.

With these 3 steps, we can plan what you are looking for, share some great ideas, and then make Fun happen!!

Step 1 : Planning the who, what, and where ...

First of all, we have a no obligation chat about WHO you would like to include and WHAT you would like to get out of your photography session. Vanessa can be reached on 9562 5003, or on our simple Contact form ..

Then we plan WHERE you would like to be photographed, to suit your needs.

Would you like a natural or casual style? … one of the many parks or gardens will be perfect. Would you like your photography in your own home and garden? … that’s especially good if you wish to include a mature dog or your feline family members!

Once you are booked in, we will help you prepare for your session and guide you on what to wear and give you other hints & tips – so its all really easy.

Step 2 : Your Photography Session

Action Time! Here’s the fun bit!

On the day of your session, we will meet up at your chosen location. We will create a variety of images of you and your family and show the real you.

Feel free to include what makes your family unique

Bring your gorgeous family dog, bring the kid’s bikes or your son’s footie ball or even small musical instruments, or any special items that will make your images personal to you.

Why not have a family picnic during your session? Consider bringing a change of clothes for young children to create a different look.

Step 3 : Your Design and Viewing Session

About a fortnight after your photography, we catch up again, so you can view the images from your session and choose your favourites. We help you choose how you would like to display your favourite images – maybe a beautiful canvas or even a story-board collage of several images.

We have a premium range of products for you to choose from, which will show off your images and preserve your memories for years to come. This includes ‘wall portraits’, ‘box sets’ of mounted photographs and albums. Alternatively, digital packages are available to enable you to purchase your favourite digital negatives.

Your finished artwork has each image enhanced by hand for colour and contrast. They are also retouched so they look their very best!

On Friday late afternoon/evening there is a special ‘twilight session’ to make the most of the beautiful soft light at the end of the day. The time of this ‘twilight session’, depends on Sunset times and is about 2 hours before sunset.
